About Us
Dragon power Services Ltd was established in 2008 by John Lumsden and Dave North.
John is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Dave is Qualified in Structural Engineering. Dave also owns a Company, VF Engineering Ltd, which undertakes the fabrication and installation of structural steelwork.
Our intention is to take advantage of the developing alternative energy market and to that end we have established a Company well qualified to provide expert advice on the choice and installation of a range of wind turbines, and Photo Voltaic systems, the economics of their performance and to provide a reliable and professional supply, installation and maintenance service.
Dragon Power Services first year was wholly dedicated to researching the market and obtaining certification as installers, under the Micro Generation Certification Scheme(MCS).
In order to achieve this we funded and installed our own Wind Turbine to enable us to demonstrate our competence to the MCS assessors.
We have subsequently been on installation training courses at SDWind Energy, Ryse Energy, Evance Wind & Future Energy and are approved for these installations.
We have successfully undertaken installations under the mentorship of Proven Energy Ltd, and Evance Wind Turbines Ltd. We have confined our area of operation to North Wales as we feel that we would not be able to provide the support to which our Clients are entitled, if their location is in excess of two hours travel from our base in Anglesey. We are dedicated to providing a Professional service in a rapidly changing and complex market.
